Can't put away the boots just yet
Ssssnnnnooooowwww.
And more snoooooowww.
The felines are climbing the walls. Those walls needed to be repainted anyway.
The house is on solid ground and toasty warm.
The jeep is fun to drive in this and having a garage is the thing I am most grateful for this year, besides living in a no earthquake, war zone area. The only radioactivity I have to worry about is Thomas and not throwing his litter in the garbage for a few weeks.
It's all good.

melting the snow pack which worries me due to not only flooding but to the loss of valuable water for reservoirs that depend on it during summer e.g. Bull Run

I thought I didn't post this one. Thanks for commenting so I could edit it! Heh.
We have some flood issues to worry about here, but people are preparing - even in the places where the river doesn't normally rise, but they're pretty sure it will this year.
So, keeping the snow pack is good. Melting off bad. Gotcha. Be nice not to have to worry about drought this year. Anywhere.:)

It was. It disappeared while I was typing and I looked to see if it posted. It wasn't there. And now it is. Okey-doke. Sometimes you just gotta go with the strange LJ flow.:)

*sigh* I REALLY hope that's it for this year. But you're totally right, it's important to be thankful for what we've got ... a warm place to live, earthquake-free area to live in, etc. The only thing I have to worry about here are the crazy drivers, lol

Our snow stuck and it sure seems more than expected. We had stuff pinging off the windows and roof last night. Can't call it hail, but it was noisy. Driving was interesting this morning. Very bumpy.
Me too!
There's enough chaos out there without tossing the crazy driving into the mix.:)

Felines are bored, bored, bored! I'd let them out, but one of our guys has figured out a way out of the cat proof fencing. Tenacious little &(^%.

Of course he did - they're so sneaky like that!!
