Life - I'm done with business coaching! For now. I won't say forever since it's proven very valuable, but I love not having the 'homework'.:) However, I am off to shovel snow. I know it's March. There's going to be snow. But poo. Snow. I was so excited to see asphalt. You could see the potholes and avoid them. Seeing dirt? I celebrated.:D

In the Emma news - still concerned. We have a vet coming to our house Friday to check her out and make sure we're not missing anything. Emma is so snoggy. When she meows it sounds like she's underwater. Which is actually adorable, but not right. Eating well and all that and wants to snuggle. If we could get her over this, I think we have a good chance of getting her back to her spunky self.:)

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Can you or can you not completely overhaul a salon in a weekend?

Answer. Yes. No.

Mostly. Pretty much. My family really pulled it out for me. That I'm grateful to all of them doesn't begin to cover it. Anything that didn't quite make it was due to a scheduled delivery of new equipment that didn't show up as scheduled. Or a barber, odd duck that he is, held us up Saturday. Or the contractor, who was to bring and install the new sink base Sunday, didn't show up.

The place was in workable condition Tuesday. Totally different from what it was and I'm happy. Exhausted, but happy.

Sooo... finally saw The Walking Dead. Not last night. The week before.

I know. Deep thoughts. That'll happen later. A total salon revamp can be done in a weekend as long as you use sleeping hours. More on that later when typing doesn't make my poor wore out fingers hurt.:)

I'm pleading total ignorance of this practice. Never in my life have I ever participated or attended a cookie exchange. A neighbor (along with her little girl who had the cutest red curly hair ever) dropped by with an invite for a neighborhood block cookie exchange today. You could tell she was a little nervous about it. Of course, we're going. I think it's harder than anything to put an invite and wonder if all the response you get is the sound of crickets.

So tell me people who are in the know of cookie exchanges - what is involved? I've no idea how many others of our block will be attending. Are we safe enough baking 3 dozen Snickerdoodles (we had the ingredients) and calling it good?

Ssssnnnnooooowwww.

And more snoooooowww.

The felines are climbing the walls. Those walls needed to be repainted anyway.

The house is on solid ground and toasty warm.

The jeep is fun to drive in this and having a garage is the thing I am most grateful for this year, besides living in a no earthquake, war zone area. The only radioactivity I have to worry about is Thomas and not throwing his litter in the garbage for a few weeks.

It's all good.
