Hawaii Five-0: 1.21

Broke.

There were a few good moments, but too far between. However, the part that floored me was Kono's manipulation of a grieving kid. Awkwardly written and more convoluted than it had to be. Too much of that all the way around. The slo-mo dramatic moment carrying the kid out. Seriously? There's silly fun and there's just silly.

This was just silly. Clunk.:)

clunker indeed...........
I find the writing haphazard but that is true of most network series.....

I have a lot of complaints about the series. I could go on and on, but the pretties and the bromance keep me watching. haha And stories you write. *g*

AGREEEEEEEEEEED. And isn't this like the fourth kid Kono's had to handle? I felt the woman was a little uncomfortably stereotyped there. Jin-Chin could handle a kid, he's nice. And Danny SHOULD be handling kids, he's a DAD!

I almost want to write into H50 and ask them about their casting agents, because Monday was a little nails on chalkboard with some of the guest actors. I expect it from the bigger names who aren't traditional actors, but some of the little people needed some help, too.

On the up side, any and all interactions between Danny and anyone was awesome. I think I liked his line about Steve putting both hands on the wheel, something about 'don't...don't put both hands on the wheel. anytime you put both hands on the wheel it means you're about to do something crazy and I end up having to pray.'

I guess I know what I like the show for and accept it mostly, but there are a few things here and there they could be more diligent with.
