Little catching up

Can you or can you not completely overhaul a salon in a weekend?
Answer. Yes. No.
Mostly. Pretty much. My family really pulled it out for me. That I'm grateful to all of them doesn't begin to cover it. Anything that didn't quite make it was due to a scheduled delivery of new equipment that didn't show up as scheduled. Or a barber, odd duck that he is, held us up Saturday. Or the contractor, who was to bring and install the new sink base Sunday, didn't show up.
The place was in workable condition Tuesday. Totally different from what it was and I'm happy. Exhausted, but happy.
Sooo... finally saw The Walking Dead. Not last night. The week before.
Disappointed. It was perhaps the most predictable episode I've seen in the series. And the most frustrating. It would've surprised me more if Andrea had made it. As it was, once we saw the Governor with his torture set up and Andrea decides to bolt - no surprise at the end there. Did enjoy the part where she left him for the walkers. Milton, he's proving more interesting.
I absolutely adore Justified. I'm enjoying this season more than the last one and I get a kick out of a series where you are rooting for the bad guys. Boyd's - I'm an outlaw. Heh. He and Ava. Taking on the pretentious rubbish and giving their own back. Raylon and Boyd chatting on the stairs. Art and Tim in the ambush. I couldn't breathe watching that whole part and had to watch it again. Colt and Tim chatting on the phone. Come on, that was funny! I think Colt deserves everything coming to him and then some, but when he shot the sniper with his own sniper rifle - yeah, I shouldn't have laughed there either, but how do you not?! And Raylon. He makes me happy just watching him, but I do get a kick out of him and Rachel together. She's so not a pushover. And the little constable! Taking out whatever his name. YES! Suffice to say, I enjoyed watching the last 3 eps back to back. More, I respect a show that gives us fully realized characters even if they have a small role.:)
O.M.G. Is this the sexiest show ever? I don't know what is historically accurate. I don't care. History is written and not entirely by an unbiased point of view. What I do care about is women who are women and strong because of it. And the ever so charming scene of Lagertha and Ragnar inviting oh-so-sweet Athelstan to their bed, but making it the equivalent of 'do you want to come out and play?' I liked how direct and honest it was. Kudos to Athelson for resisting those two, but honey, why resist? There's so much more. Like Fimmel's amazing eyes - okay, more than that, but this is what stuck.:)
I'm fascinated. Horrified. Sucked in. I purchased it from iTunes. I'm committed.
