I'm waiting.
Stuff that surprised me
Stuff I'm already tired of:
Painful, yes, in it needed to happen way. Sam's cryptic - not the problem - all kinds of interesting. And this is one part where I am in the wait and see where it goes mode. There have and should be repercussions from the Dean's actions. I'm happy to see it. Sam angry. Good. Thank you. I LOVE that they parted. If they hadn't - seriously, if they hadn't where could they have possibly have gone? Sam forgiving Dean? Oh no. Please no. That'd be too pat and too icky. The level of co-dependency that would require - so not right. But this is where the wait and see comes in. I'm interested in how they resolve this and a little leary. They've done some relationship resolutions and I can't say I've been satisfied with some of the glossing over that's happened. I do not side with either brother as I'm equally interested in both their stories. However, I do think Sam's story has been short-shifted on more than one occasion. Not saying both of them haven't in that regard, but I gotta say Sam is winning out. Strictly, my opinion, of course. But please, please, show do not gloss over any of this. It has the potential to be so interesting and perhaps propel these guys to an entirely different level. We've seen that Sam can let go. I want to see that for Dean.
I need to watch it again, because as I type this I realized I watched it with a bit of a jaundiced eye wondering if we were going down the wash, rinse, repeat cycle. And it was good ep. I liked it, but now want to watch it without the 'please, please, let's not have Cas wave the magic wand and all is good'. Yeah, heal Sam of course, but beyond that, no. That he stood back as the brothers talked - perfect.
Heh - next week. Now that again is something that surprised me. I'm looking forward to the Dean and Crowley teaming up.:)
