A lovely way to start a day...
Nov. 4th, 2008 01:29 pm1) One of the cats jumps on my head because that is the way to demand an early breakfast, but also handy because we wanted to get to the polling place before it opened.
2) Beautiful morning to walk to the polling place.
3) Okay, so a long line, but everyone was smiling and so charming, who could be crabby with that?
4) The amount of photo taking regarding the very long line was cute.
5) The little man that came out crowing about how it paid to get there at 6:00 am wearing his little red 'I voted' sticker was all kinds of adorable.
6) The people working this thing rocked.
7) Voted, and walked that same very nice walk home.
8) The energy in our corner of the world is ever so much better.
9) So yay us, we voted, and had a great time doing it.:)
10) And we made it to work on time.:D
