What a good idea:)

This is one of those - why didn't I think of that? We have homeless people on the corners where the traffic lights are. The other day I saw someone pass out gift cards to them instead of cash. A-duh-what-a-great-idea!

A grocery store gift card gets rid of the 'please be using that cash for food' worry. Given the economy, the overburdened churches and services in the area, you know there's a true need out there.

Gift cards. Geez. Yeah, yeah, don't tell me you all know this. When it comes to sensible solutions I'm a little slow to grasp the simple. *facepalm*
