This show is very generous in giving each character their moment to shine, but I'm telling you right now I had to fast forward the beginning. My vegan heart can't take it. *shudder*
Glenn. You are smart and brave and a leader and they don't see it or want to see it. I'm not so sure about that last bit. I think the group is a bit swamped with other things at the moment to see what a leader you will become. If you live. (Please let Glenn live. He's too adorable to get eaten.) But given how you can take down a walker with a shelf, I'm betting you'll make it.
The scene between Glenn and Lori where he gives her the prenatal vitamins and also where he says that maybe her choice isn't one she should make alone. *melts*
Glenn owned this episode.
Maggie. Are you finally getting it?
Lori. Geez. You didn't have pretty choices throughout this ep. Carl learning to shoot. What mom would want to see that as a necessity for their kid? Keep the baby, abort the baby. Thank you for telling Rick about Shane and I loved the reason you didn't tell Rick about the baby was to keep it off his conscious if you aborted.
Rick. I love your restraint. You could've gone off the rails and you didn't. And please. Could you get more of those walking down the road scenes? Watching you walk is a pleasure.
Daryl. Only one scene. You needed your rest after last week. You really did. Love how you let Andrea off the hook.
Andrea. You go girl! Now that was a joy to see something just click and settle into strength. And when something settles in you, well. Hmm. Again, you go girl!
Dale. If you know what kind of man Shane is, confronting him is perhaps not the best thing to do. Heh. Giving Glenn a nudge got you a little more than you bargained for too.
Shane. Asset and hindrance. If Carl and Lori are your only concerns, I'd hate to be anyone else in the group.
Hershel. You be the biggest lunatic yet.
Okay, find Sophia already! One way or another.
Except for the beginning with the chickens, I enjoyed every single scene in this ep. They know how to move a story forward and the characters and spill a whole bunch of secrets. I'm blissed.:)
Now to get something done today. You all have a great Monday!
