I traveled last week, but got in Wednesday just in time to dump bags, eat and finish up to sit down and enjoy the view. Taken me this long to catch up on everything else.:)
Shirtless training! Yes, it made a return. This is good.
Felicity. This woman - how can you not love this woman? She's certainly not easily intimidated and the other moral compass that Oliver certainly needs. Oliver would be heading towards sociopath behavior without Diggle and now with Felicity. I do believe this guy has the support he needs not to go off the deep end. However, I still don't want Oliver to change too much.
Favorite thing? Felicity looking gorgeous and no leering or double-takes from Oliver and Diggle. Whatever there was it was understated and so dang refreshing. Turning the two into frat boy behavior wouldn't have made me happy. This made me happy. Felicity, glasses (awesome ones at that) and ponytail doesn't disguise that she's beautiful. However, in Felicity's case, her brilliance outshines it all and it is nice to see that Oliver and Diggle appreciate that.
And how seriously adorable was the diner scene?!
Okay, I did not get why Oliver was the one apologizing when I thought Detective McKenna was plowing over the line.
Go Moira. I'd love to know that full story.
Flashback scenes. Ow. Interesting, but sheesh. Those are some ugly choices Oliver had to make.
Still ecstatic with this series. It hits all kinds of buttons I didn't even know I had.:)
Dang it, dang it. Why did they go there? I love that the series has come about full circle, but the trust thing? That one has been done. It's been flattened by the sledgehammer, then the steamroller, then the car crusher. It's a squished, squishy thing and instead of propelling the story forward, it screeched any momentum to a halt. Why, oh why do these writers insist there has to be the deep dark secrets between these guys? Isn't their life tense enough?
While this ep wasn't as strong as the previous eps, I still enjoyed - until that scene at the end and then it was - again?
However, this be the roller coaster that is SPN and there is next week. Please, please, let these guys move beyond this. It plops such a jarring- unnecessary-made-up conflict in their midst.
I'll always enjoy the pretty though.:)
