...fall at their feet screaming 'CLUE HERE'. Show - Don't change. Ever. I'll embrace the the implausible, suspend disbelief and enjoy the pretty!
Nice to see how the actors are meshing in their roles and the hints of back story dropped here and there. The ending was a good little kicker.
I appreciated the scene in the car between Danny and Steve.
And I adore Kono's unswerving loyalty and defense of Chin.
What I hope to see is the cast get more into the nitty gritty of their roles. The potential is there and I'm looking forward to seeing that intensity utilized.
Gorgeous show. People and scenery. It can't be a zombie apocalypse all the time. A break is needed and this is a good one.:)

Date: 2010-12-09 12:03 am (UTC)Okay, with just about ANY fandom I love, I have a serious soft spot for hypothermic whumping. Steve could fall into a ....oh, wait they're in Hawaii. Damn. uh....
OMG I googled hypothermia and look what it said!!
"The human body loses body heat twenty-six times faster in water than it does in air. As you might guess, this is just one reason why you're more likely to get hypothermia from the water than from being on land - in fact, some people have even suffered from hypothermia in the relatively warm water near Hawaii." !!!!!!
Maybe Steve could also have been drugged (or hit over the head) and one of the drugs side effects is that it lowers body temperature. Maybe he could be left in a sinking submarine (or boat)! ...Okay, I just flashed back to an ep of MacGyver. haha! Okay okay, and then the team can find him and drag him out and as they're speeding back in their rescue boat, Danny holds him in his arms. And Steve is all delirious, but they're still bantering and Danny is trying not to act worried and he's bitching at him cause he's getting him wet and now HE'S cold and and and...*big cheesy grin* PUUULLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEAAAAZ!!!
*puppy eyes*

Float.
Don’t tread, don’t kick. Float. Any movement in the water would cause heat loss over thirty percent faster than to remain motionless. Motionless wasn’t an option, but he could back float. And his head was clearing of the drugs enough to know he was in trouble.
The shivers had started a little while ago.
Back float. That’s all he had to do until his team found him. They were good at finding things. They’d find him.

Whumpage enough? There's details later. Sort of....
